Thank you [livejournal.com profile] zohra for the new icon!

It has been a busy weekend. I drove home early on Thursday to beat the snow. Friday, there was enough snow that I didn't leave the house until the afternoon for snacks and evening for [livejournal.com profile] zohra's opera, but still managed to avoid doing virtually any work or recreation. I'm not quite sure how I managed that.

Saturday I got the replacement tail lamp assembly for the Nissan, and I managed to reinstall it, sortof. The body is damaged enough that the assembly doesn't really fit, but I managed to get it basically on. Perhaps when I have more time, more patience, or someone with mad metalworking skillz, I can do a better job.

Later, [livejournal.com profile] zohra did a great job in the opera, yet again. We went out to Kclinger's with [livejournal.com profile] zosime, and we were later joined by Louisa, Tim, Jess, and Laura. Afterwards, [livejournal.com profile] zohra, [livejournal.com profile] zosime and I went to see Narnia, which was awesome.

Today was yet another busy day, even though [livejournal.com profile] zohra wasn't able to sing for the holiday concert. I went out to get more boxes and lunch, then sat with [livejournal.com profile] zohra and watched Shrek while she studied and I assembled the boxes. I packed about another fifteen boxes into the truck along with ten garbage bags full of clothes. I also strapped my stepladder to the rack, since I hope to get some of the minor ceiling stuff done in the house this week.

Not sure yet when I'm going to leave, yet. I think it is too late and I'm too tired to leave now, and [livejournal.com profile] zohra is understandably pressuring me to stay over another day. If I didn't think it would place yet more stress on my work relationship, I probably would. However, I'm going to be working from home all next week, and the week between Christmas and New Years, so I think it is probably important to put in a good showing this week. I guess that means I will get up at 3:00 AM or so, to get to work on time tomorrow morning.

I can't wait until everything is moved. There are now areas of the apartment that look bare, although there is still a scary (to me) amount of stuff left.

Two more weeks until I get my LSAT scores.
