And the gun thing..I'm losing track of how many times when I've tried to say "Oh Americans aren't as gun crazy as you think." (no one believes me) they ask me about the things in the news they heard about conservatives making runs on the gun stores. lol At that point I'm at a loss and try to turn the topic to something like hockey.

Well, I think the irony is that it isn't just the conservatives that ran to the gun stores. I think most of the conservatives already had quite a few firearms, although I know some people who bought more so that they can sell them when the prices finish skyrocketing.

Guns I wanted six months ago cost 50% more now. It will get worse before the ban comes out. There were a lot of people who made a fortune speculating on pre-ban ammo magazines and accessories before the Clinton ban.

Ah well. Hopefully things won't get bad enough that we actually need all of these guns.

That's so super nice he wants to look out for Mexico! But, yeah, kind of screws US over.
Ach! Sick. But not surprising.
Doesn't sound like it's the highest thing on his priority list though, which is good.
