sorrowmonkeyI guess I haven't updated in a while. I have been pretty busy, but mostly it's just that I go through periods of time where I say all the stuff I need to say out loud instead of needing to write stuff down. I think the whole Foley thing is a sad joke, people will do anything they can to trash Lieberman, and it's impossible for Bush, Cheney, and Halliburton to actually manipulate the gas prices by forty cents a gallon on a schedule. Still, people will believe what they want to believe, and no amount of shouting at the radio or my professors is going to change that.
I had a great time over the weekend at Kingdom Crusades. It was quite the haul, but![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
osgkar was kind enough to to all the driving. It was nice to have a day with my knight and da duke. I was a bit sore at the end of the day from wearing my armor (for the first time in two months), but not too sore from getting hit.
On Sunday, I spent quite a while (3-4 hours?) stacking the firewood we got. Quite the pile, I must say. Also, the giant spider is back. I thought she had gone to the great spider in the sky last week, but while I was in the house eating lunch, she built a completely new web in the garage. Fancy that. I finally got all of the bulk trash and moldy cardboard (well, almost all..) set out on the curb in time for big pickup day.
Needless to say, I'm a bit sore for all the heavy labor (by my standards, at least) over the weekend. My back is basically over it, but my hamstrings are staging a major protest. It's fine once I get them stretched out, but every time I sit down for more than ten minutes, they get cranky again. Also, I'm just tired. Between the busy weekend last week, and the Saturday marathon, I'm just a little behind on sleep. I'm caught up on the laundry though, so there's something.
Well, I guess that will be it for now.
