Say 'hello' to my little friend...
Nov. 23rd, 2006 12:55 pmNo, not that little friend... BAD TOUCH! BAD TOUCH!
Really, though, a squirrel has decided to nest in our attic. She's got a nice private entrance over the bay window, and about half the attic to herself. We're not sure yet if she has babies in there or not. We go days without hearing her at all, and then it's like there's a squirrel amusement park going on. From what I've found on-line, the best thing to do is wait until she's out foraging, and then check out the nest. If it's empty, then POOF you are evicted. Otherwise, well, hopefully she won't eat too much of the insulation before everyone moves out and we can squirrel proof the joint. She's cute, but not welcome.
Ah well, at least I know what's going on now. Oh, and I have the scariest ladder ever in my shed, but it has been peak-tested at 300lbs successfully (one trial only).
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
