sorrowmonkeyWell, tomorrow we start moving into our new house.
I'm really exciting, I just wish more of the packing was done. We made really great progress on Saturday, but then Sunday and yesterday we didn't get much time to work on it. Ah well. The vast majority of it is done, but there's still a disturbing amount left.
I figure I have at least two trips in the truck to get the stuff that we're not having the movers move, it could possibly be as many as four. To give you an idea of what it's going to be like tomorrow...
Get up, pack, load truck, walk-through house, unload truck, install mailbox (oh boy!), drive back, load truck, drive, unload, unpack a little, drive, (pack some more), load, drive, unload, etc.
Sounds like fun, Heh?
The movers come on Thursday, I'm figuring probably the whole day will be shot on that fracas. It's also Zohra's birthday, so we're going to try our best to make it out to dinner.
Almost certainly there is going to be stuff left for us to get on Friday, stuff that we won't get to tomorrow, and can't have the movers take on Thursday.
Luckily, I *did* take Thursday and Friday off from work.
