So, I both love and hate DDR. The good news is that I've getting my cardio in and working on my coordination. The down side is that I really can blow it on the last three moves of the song five times in a row. Grr.
I have to say, 99 Luftballons at 192 BPM is some serious smack, even on beginner. I don't want to think about what expert must be like. I think it's ironic that the slow songs are actually harder.
Okay, back to work.

Date: 2007-11-28 03:39 am (UTC)I'm sure that you would rock at it. It calls for good internal rhythm and coordination. I think that probably all that time I spent in marching band is giving me a leg up at it.
Even the songs that I don't like tend to be re-mixed dance trax that are still fun to jump around to.
I do think a Kathak version would be great. The only question is if the hand controllers have requisite sensitivity, and the spins would require some sort of very special pad.
Hopefully you know what offensive non-mutual collateral estoppel is, since I sure as heck don't. If you understand Erie you'll probably do better than I did.
That birdwatcher-shoots-cat case came up in Evidence today, though. Apparently the police officer testified that the cat "was in terrible pain" and the defendant objected on the lay witness opinion testimony.
