(no subject)

Wow, long day.

I got up this morning at 8:30 hoping to get super-duper work done before noon when my coworkers get up. Unfortunately, the *expletive* *deleted* network was basically down all morning. I struggled through 30% packet loss and managed to achieve some of my goals, and then the problem was fixed about 1:00 PM, just after my window of opportunity closed.

Had my weekly meeting with the guys that I work with. SURPRISE! My boss is leaving; he says he's found his dream job. I can't imagine what that would be, I don't know him well enough. In any case, as happy as I might be to be getting a new boss, it turns out I'm getting someone I'm not sure I like. Ugh.

Funny, I think we had lunchmeat and cheese for almost every meal in the past two days. I ran out today for Wendy's spicy-chicken, and Zohra had some peanut butter this evening (she's been craving it lately), but otherwise, it's been from the deli drawer of the fridge. Just wierd.

I guess I should go to bed.
