Beware of the YETI!
Feb. 16th, 2003 10:23 pmWell the new version of The Music Man was just awesome. It was much more true to the actual text of the play than the older versions, and the costumes were excellently done. I think it was another one of those productions that simply could not fail. Everyone in it was just perfect.
On another note, we are totally snowed in. The official number is 16 inches so far (24-35 by tomorrow evening is forecast), but it's drifting in the 15-20 mph wind. That means that I can see some of my asphalt driveway, but other areas of the driveway (shoveled hours ago) are 30 inches deep. Since it's all smooth curves, it's easy to misstep from a 4 inch area to a 30 inch area without realizing. Definitely an experience.
We're having a great time, we just watched movies and Zohra made fabulous dinner and pecan pie. It doesn't get much better than this.
