Sigh, here we go with another week.

I had a great weekend watching movies and generally lazing around (aside from the usual homework). Got a few things done around the house, although I still haven't gotten around to vacuuming (darn).

I took the truck up to the dealership on Saturday, but he wasn't willing to make an offer without an estimate of the body repairs. Naturally, there isn't a body shop in Pennsylvania that is open on Saturday, so I have to go tomorrow.

I'm starting to get the nerves about going to FL this weekend. I'm sure it will be fine, but I don't like to be away from [livejournal.com profile] zohra for so long. I'm going to spend Friday evening and Saturday morning with my dad, and then start home. I'm still hoping to take the train, but we'll see.

I cut my hand today on a glass in the kitchen. I don't need stiches (thank heavens) but it was close. I was getting a glass out of the cupboard, and it slipped and crashed into the Kitchen-Aid mixer while I was still trying to catch it. As a result I grabbed a bunch of broken glass, and [livejournal.com profile] zohra ended up having to clean up the mess (sorry).

I spent quite a bit of time this evening talking to Sarah about what she's going to study in school and do after she graduates. I don't know her very well, but I don't want to see her fall into the same pattern that I did in college. There are many options for people who like computers besides programming, so I tried to introduce her to them. It looks like I was able to give her some hints of what was coming as well; hopefully, everything will work out for her.
