Let Mortal Kombat Begin!

My resume is freshly updated with new skills and blurbs about my most recent exploits. Strangely enough, I keep getting hits on my resume from employers in Virginia and the Carolinas, in spite of the fact that I didn't have anything further south than Maryland in my prospective targets.

Now, the southwest corner of my search area is NYC. I'm going to suck up some of the Java at work, and try and finish my Cognos certifications. Also on the list of plans is to call and try to complete my degree early. Must get the hell out of here!

I made a new feastgear chest/stool. This is my first semi-successful attempt at making such a thing; the previous attempts were depressing. I will try and get a picture of it up soon. Last night, Bryan and I spent what seemed like an enternity working on our project. He was cutting some brackets for his camp bed, and I was closing out final assembly of the chest components.

I'm starting a new class today, "Windows Networking." We have to write papers on Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows 2003. It's funny, really.
