So we were sitting at a restaurant this morning having breakfast, and there is this annoying family not far behind us (a couple and their young child, still in a high chair). They had set up a portable DVD player for the kid, and it was blasting laugh-track on-and-off all the way through breakfast. When they got ready to leave, the kid screamed and screamed because it was shut off.

At some point during this time, I said to zohra: "Raising the kid by TV, huh? Well, that is excellent! That is one more person that my kids won't have to worry about competing with later on."

I thought zohra was injured immediately afterwards, but apparently she was just trying not to spew hot coffee all over me in laughter.
