I got a job offer this morning!!!
Starting Monday, I work for Dakota Imaging, a little firm in Columbia, MD specializing in document processing. They take insurance claim forms and process them into digitally useful formats.
It pays about half of what I used to make, but yet, I'm happy. I guess the prospect of being homeless makes for good offer letter sauce.
The people are all really nice, and they are going to pay for the classes I need to get certified on their systems. They are definitely not lacking in work to do, it sounds like their explosive growth is leading to a lot of opportunities for improvement.
