This commuting thing really sucks.

Until Tuesday, my work week pretty much went like this:

7:30 AM Get Up
8:30 AM Begin commute
9:30-10:00 AM Arrive at work
6:00-6:30 PM Leave work
7:00-8:00 Arrive at home

Unforuntately, due to my early morning getting moved up, I have to get up at 5:30 now, and I had maintenance yesterday morning, so I had to get up at 3:15 AM and drive into work. No, I didn't get out early, either.


I've worked at jobs with unreasonable workloads, I've worked jobs with crazy hours. I've even worked in places that never upgraded their infrastructure, ever. Now, I've got all three and moe.

The person in our group who started two weeks after I did just resigned; his new job is closer to my house than his, and he's going to make significantly more.

I desperately need a new job, but at least I have something.

Yuck.. gettin' into work that early? :( That is brutal.. I mean, before it sounded alright.. but now? That's a bit much.. okay, no.. it's WAY too much.

Atleast you're looking at it the right way.. you've got something now. Just gotta look for something better..
