Another week
May. 24th, 2004 06:06 amWell, last week was a real challenge. Due to a major problem with one of the critical servers at work, I was trapped in Columbia, MD until almost 2:00 AM Thursday night. That was following by an 8:00 AM - 1:00 AM day on Friday, luckly broken up by a fantastic dinner a Bryan and Leah's. A couple of hours of clean-up on Sunday morning to clear the last of the mess. Total hours last week: 53.
With that said, we go into this week squeaky clean. The mess at work is cleaned up, the house is cleaned up, my desk is cleaned up; it is just spiffy. Okay, the dog could use a bath, but otherwise, the situation is dirt and mess-free. It's a nice way to start a week.
This week we're going back to Michigan to see my mother and the rest of our family for Memorial Day weekend. The tricky part is getting the down over to Middletown and spend some quality time with our friends there. I generally don't get here until 7-8 PM, so we can't really get there before 8 PM at the earliest, and we can't stay out too late, we need to be at the airport about 7 AM the next morning.
I'm sure we'll work sometime out, but right now, it's time to get to work.
