I can't see anything, it's a good thing that I learned to touch-type, or my homework would be a complete impossibility at this point. Reading the monitor is a real challenge, but as long as I take my time, I can eventually get the gist of it.

That's right, folks! Another visit to the optician. Nice doctor, really, and the office staff proved much more helpful than they looked. Ordered contacts, new glasses, the whole works. The down side is that my new glasses are about 300 bucks. The good news is that the lenses should be virtually indestrucible, and are warranteed six ways from sunday. I certainly wasn't going to get another part of Wal-Mart specials.

Looks like my vision has actually improved: my new prescription is weaker than the old one. That explains the fish tank feeling when I first put them in. Not much better, mind you, but every little bit helps.

New glasses good - paid more for the ultrlights didn't ya? that's what usually racks up my eyeglass bill :)
