GameCube of DOOM

zohra gave me my birthday present early, and it's a Nintendo GameCube!!! She bought me Super Smash-Bros and one of the new Zeldas, along with a compilation of old Midway arcade games. I had a great time trying them all out yesterday, and I just wish I didn't have all this schoolwork so that I could go back to playing it.

I also got a DiscWorld novel and a Dvorak CD. Looking forward to "playing" with those soon, too.

We do have to replace the bedrails; there was a bit of rough-housing the other day, and zohra re-bent the previously damaged center rail. Just another little thing to deal with, but we might take the opportunity to get an actual headboard and footboard. I'm anti-footboard myself, but she seems to think they're mandatory.

I'm very excited about going to Eva's wedding (June 19th). I expect it's going to be a blast, and we are staying over, so I can drink as much of that Polish vodka as my stomach can stand. I asked for the day after off today, and it's already approved.

I spoiled myself today and bought myself a new copy of The Hobbit. My bookshelves just felt incomplete without it.
