I drove all they way up here this morning with a load of stuff (basically the last of the books, and lots of clothes). I work all day, and come home to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
darthluna's and have some dinner. I helped Tanya for a bit with her homework, and then jumped in the truck to take it over to my place to start unpacking.
I roar up the driveway, and leap from the truck...
I land in eight inches of snow. Right. House. Driveway... Sidewalk...
Shovel.
So... I cleared the walkway up to the back door, and a working area behind the truck. I grabbed the mail and packages, and unloaded all the junk. I checked the oil (about 5/8 of a tank), and then decided to shovel the front walk and steps.
I really missed that, although it is much easier before people walk and drive all over it. The driveway is basically hopeless, but the sidewalk is almost tolerable.
