bkleber: There appears to be the possibility of making Firefly Season 2 and selling it per-episode on DVD or as pay-per-view, with the possibility of buying the whole season on DVD when it was finished.
They are talking about buying the rights from Fox and continuing the series independently, and they have a survey to determine whether it would work or not. I'm not sure that it would be the same show, really, but the idea seems worthwhile.
