Thanks to the stomach flu, no fighter practice for me. That really sucks, even if it is was likely that I would again be pummeled on my left side. My right hand is feeling much better overall, but I think holding a sword with it is probably the most traumatic thing I can imagine doing. The wounds from last week have almost healed, so it must have been time for new ones. Perhaps I can get something informal set up this weekend with alpha_duke and jeep_squire, just to get some of the aggression out.

Watched most of Happiness of the Katakuris last night, it was pretty wacky. Also watched yesterday's Project Runway but it was a talk-talk-talk episode, so it was really more for the company than the television.

I'm working from home today (convenient stomach flu excuse) so that I can take zohra up to the train station, help her get the tickets, and put her reluctantly on the train. I'm going to miss her this weekend, but I suppose it can't be any worse than the three months last fall. At least this way, I have svava to keep her out of trouble.

Ah well, I guess I should do some work now. It's not really difficult, just boring; but unfortunately, it is uninteresting enough that I didn't do any of it yesterday at all. That rather means I need to make it up today and this weekend.

Depends on who you ask....

My personal take is: she may not keep you out of trouble, but it will be contained and the people
without any sense of humor will be the only ones upset. Who cares about them?
