So, I stumbled upstairs last night at around 10:30 PM, and I had been really really tired from about 9:00 PM on. This was not particularly convenient, since apparently zohra had caffiene in the afternoon and was not tired at all. So, I slept with the light on from 10:30 until whenever she was done reading The Picture of Dorian Gray.

For some stupid reason, I woke up at 1:00 AM, and could not get back to sleep. I laid there flopping over and over until about 2 AM, when I got up, washed my face, and tried again. I think I got back to sleep around 2:30 AM. Suck. The good news is that even time I woke up between 2:30 and 6 AM, I was able to get back to sleep relatively quickly.

For those of you following the pipe-cutter incident, the pipes in question are thin aluminum with a powercoating larger than 1 5/8", perhaps around 1 3/4" or 2" diameter. There are basically two telescoping posts, and I need to trim the outer and inner post for both posts (four cuts). I think they are 84" tall or thereabouts, and I need to probably be in the high 60s-low 70s.

Don't worry about it. I'm not sure what the badness is that's been leading to the insomnia, but it's welcome to knock the hell off.

I miss you, as always. That's the biggest problem with going to work. :-(
