Background
Your wife, code name: [livejournal.com profile] zohra, has been away from home for eight(8) days. On her return, she will be escorting two(2) VIPs, code name: FAMILY, who will be guarded at our safe house, code name: HOME, for two(2) weeks before their scheduled departure for their journey's next leg. Reorganization of equipment and materials at HOME has been authorized to made space for FAMILY.

The overall current condition of HOME is suitable for everyday use, but is likely that spit and polish will be necessary to impress FAMILY.

Objectives
  1. Collect ZOHRA and FAMILY from designated drop point.
  2. Escort ZOHRA and FAMILY to HOME.
  3. Provide clean and ample space for FAMILY at HOME.
Current mission status, 6/13/2006 0055 ZULU:
  • Subjects ZOHRA and FAMILY expected at drop point at 6/14/2006 1552 ZULU.
  • Upgrades to HOME nearly complete:
    • Trash cans emptied.
    • Dishes cleaned.
    • Clothes laundered.
    • New shower curtain installed.
    • Furballs collected by agent SHOP-VAC, and floors swept.
    • Grass trimmed.
    • Bathrooms tidied.
  • Further effort needed by existing personnel to achieve mission objectives:
    • Install sofa slipcover at point KLIPPAN.
    • Secure trash at point CURB for retreival.
  • Maintain high state of readiness.

I don't know about anyone else, but I played through the entirety of Call of Duty: Game of the Year Edition in a 24-hour period when I was taking breaks from house stuff.

Can't stand Mission Impossible, myself. I always enjoyed the concept, but I'm revolted by the implementation. I wonder if I could find some old MacGyver episodes...
