But LOOK! Something besides quizzes!!!
I went to fighter practice on Tuesday and Thursday, which was great. I'm really pleased at how things are going, but there's no question I wouldn't be where I am now without all of the really great help I've been getting, especially from Brian. I got some good shots in, and got some exercise at the same time. For once, I wasn't the newest/most unskilled person there.
Work, but probably best if I don't talk about that. It's just boring, and my coworkers drive me crazy. No big news there. ;-)
Zohra and I finally got around to taking Bran to the vet, who said it was probably allergies. Apparently a lot of dogs are coming in lately with the itches. She gave us a bunch of pills to give him to help with the allergies and with his injury. Luckily, it's trivial to get him to take pills, just coat them in peanut butter and he doesn't even notice.
Our new house has a roof now (yes, complete with shingles!) and it looked like they were getting ready to put the windows in. We'll probably drive past it tomorrow to see how it's coming along, we'll going to see Diane and Greg and their clan, should be lots of fun.
Next week we're heading back to Michigan to see family and keep some appointments, not really looking forward to the drive, but I'm definitely interested in seeing everybody. Still need to call the kennel tomorrow.
It's warm and humid. It just got done raining, hopefully it will rain some more and bring the humidity down.
