sorrowmonkeyWow, it's been forever since I updated my live-journal.
I spent all week working like a dog, and then the weekend comes and it doesn't end.
I'm trying to avoid dealing with the flaming refuse in my mailbox, but since more stinky badness arrives every few minutes, it is easy to become distracted by it. I wish everyone in this world would at least make a reasonable attempt at doing their job.
This morning I was listening to Car Talk on NPR, and they were talking about driving in Boston. The one guy wanted to get the television folks to come and videotape him breaking every traffic law on the book until he got a ticket; he believe he could probably go weeks. That's exactly the way I feel about southeast Michigan. If the cops were to ticket everyone in this state every time they ran a red light or failed to use their traffic signal, we could probably discontinue all property and sales taxes in this state just from the revenue of the traffic tickets.
Ah well.
I don't really want to do anything today, but I have to go to the grocery store. I hate the grocery store, especially on the weekends, but I guess I can't avoid it forever.
I hope someone buys our house soon.
