2007 starts with a headache...
Jan. 1st, 2007 07:04 pmThe New Year's Eve party seemed be to a success. At the very least, it was a pleasure to have the company of
baronessmartha, Erin,
juliegw, and da Bruce for breakfast this morning. Clean-up was lightning-quick thanks to the concerted effort of everyone staying over, and Bruce made the best breakfast ever.
Unfortunately, the rest of the day has mostly been spent suffering through a medication-resistant headache. I'm not sure how much might be hangover and how much is just typical weather-related doom. The barometric pressure has dropped almost a full point in the last 48 hours, and the pain feel like it is more frontal than occipital: probably just sinus. Ah well.
I did some reading for school, and some preparatory work for my commute to Wall Street. Then,
zohra and I watched Star Wars IV and nibbled bacon and spice-cake. Now I'm trying to figure out if there is anything else that I need to do before tomorrow. I think probably going to bed early is the best plan.
At this point I despair of ever making sea-chanty night. Ever since the semester ended, there has been some good reason why not to go, and now the semester is starting again, which will lock up Monday nights until May. About the only good news is that I be getting out on Monday and Wednesday nights at 9:20-9:30 instead of 10:00, and my Thursday class should let me out in time to get to fighter practices.
