I got in about midnight last night, after three hours on an overheated train (it's cold out Amtrak, how can you screw that up?). The hotel here is clean, but very small. I didn't sleep worth a damn because there is a machine shop across the street with horrific lights, and the shade didn't drown them out enough.

Ah well. Just file this away as one of the places that I will only go when the company is paying.

The sinus pressure is back today. It was slightly better yesterday, but it's clearly back on the attack today. I'm supposed to be in meetings all day today, and then I head back on Amtrak tonight. I'm much rather be home, oh yes.

I'm glad you got in safely. I was reading Neverwhere and had dreams of truly bizarre conversations with Croup and Vandamar where I was attempting to keep just out of reach.
