Our cats go nutbar if there is a door between them and the humans. Personally, I find persistent door scratching and furry bodies hurled against the door to be rather distracting.
And I think you raise an excellent point on the one-room apartment situation. Maybe you can't afford a bigger place or a hotel room to play in. What do you do then? Celibacy? Come on.
I also think our country has really walked away from allowing people to raise their own kids. Didn't the Clinton administration try and push sex-ed down to the elementary school level? How is this different?
