Let me 'splain. No, it's too much. Let me sum up...

This week, I...

Billed 50.5 hours at work.
Commuted back and forth to NYC (twice) for a total of 10.5 hours.
Attended classes at school for 10 hours.
Commuted back and forth to school (three times) for a total of about 4 hours.
Attended a student group event at school for 1 hour.
Went to lunch with zohra, yasmeanie and baronadhemar for just short of 2 hours.

That seems to come to 78 hours, and it hasn't accounted for meals (irregular), homework (that's what weekends are for), and sleep (clearly for the weak). Finals are coming, I have a 20 page paper due in ten days, and I'm just coming a bit unglued.

Somewhere in there, I also wrote an angry letter to the West Haven Chief of Police. I got a callback the next day from the Detective whose voice-mail I've been calling weekly (with no call-backs). I clearly understand both the law and the process he's supposed to execute better than he does. Unfortunately, I can't do it for him, since citizens are just criminals that haven't been caught yet.

I had nice telephone conversations with baronessmartha and osgkar. I watched a couple episodes of Scrubs. I took apart the shoe rack in the closet, explored the attic space, and discovered that it was all for naught. Oh right, and the Mustang's in the shop and those bastards never call me back, either.

It's been a hell of a week. Hopefully, next week will be better.
