sorrowmonkeyIt's been quite a trying well, althought I believe everything went as well as could be expected.
I reworked my resume after reviewing some materials I got from the recruiting/employment agency that my former employer paid for. The new version seems all nice and spiffy, but no jobs yet.
We just got back from a fabu time over at Bryan and Leah's. We made a vegetable, and they made the entree, and we sat and watched Invader Zim for hours. The pets seemed lonely though, when we finally got home. They are jumping all over us now, and just generally being crazy.
Valentine's day was a blast! Zohra and I went out to dinner, and then watched some movies. We had a fire in the fireplace, and a perfect evening. I couldn't ask for more.
I got the oil changed in the truck today (only about 1000 miles overdue), and we had it washed as well, since we're driving two of Zohra's professors to Baltimore tomorrow. I thought it might be nice if you could see the upholstery through the dog hair.
Mostly, I'm just trying to hold on until some sort of job opportunity comes along. I've had a number of "bites", interviews with HR types, but nothing has progressed past there so far.
