Boston police want to search homes of teenagers for guns:

Perhaps they could look for terror threats, such as light brites and stickers while they're at it.

Really though, what does it say that parents are going to let cops search their owns to implicate their children? What if the cops find the parent drug stash or illegal guns when they are investigating the children? I think this is a really bad idea. If you want your kid's stuff searched, do it yourself.

As a parent who has learned the hard way that Sharpies and stickers can be deadly to your home, I think perhaps they COULD be a terror threat. :-)

No, seriously, I am completely with you on this one. How can you NOT know your kid has a gun? People are so obsessed with letting their kids have "personal space" that they seem to be forgetting who's in charge. "They don't know what to do when faced with a teenage boy with a gun"?? How about TAKING IT AWAY?

What the heck has happened to parental responsibility, anyway?
