I've been trying to get my sleep schedule back into something reasonable. I've been getting up between 7:30 and 9:00 all this week. Unfortunately, while I've been getting to bed earlier than usual, it's not enough to compensate for the lost time in the morning.
Ah well.
Lots of stuff to do today! I'm going to tell our landlord that we're moving out in a month (yay!) because our new house is going to be done, and I need to run a pile of errands since payday has finally arrived. Throw in the fact that it's Halloween and I have work to do, and ugh.
So I've agreed to become Darius' squire.I'm really excited about it, but somewhat mystified at the same time. I just hope that I can do well enough to make him proud. In a few years I hope to get my belt and I have every intention of winning crown.
Well, we'll see. In any case, there's fighter practice this Sunday at Wulfgar's, but since I believe that his practices are either outdoors or in an unheated pole-barn, I'm not sure it's going to work out. It's been raining continuously for the past few days and the ground is just plain squishy. At least there will be practice next week at Owl's Reste.
