Another dreadful and boring day at work. However, the boss wasn't there, so we did have some fun talking smack and gossiping over the cube walls. There just isn't much to keep my attention anymore.

One of the few folks there that really is a good person is getting a new job. He had his interview there on Monday, and he's incoherent with happiness. He'll probably be a Dakota a while yet, but I think the idea of freedom is already making he's dreary job easier to tolerate.

I'm supposed to meet with my new boss on Friday, only 8 days left at Dakota for me. I will probably miss the place at some level, but it's just not worth the abuse (and commute) to keep working there. Yesterday, I was sick, and decided to work from home. I ended up working about 12 hours, and zohra had to physically take the phone away from me. I think I fell asleep about 30 minutes later.
