New Haven blames the state for city crime

Just an excerpt:
New Haven Mayor John DeStefano says some of those involved have criminal pasts and that more must be done to curb violent offenders.
"Last night...could have been much worse, as horrible as it was," Mayor DeStefano said. "The state needs to step up and deal with this population."
The state needs to step in? How about New Haven start getting its act together and dealing with their own crime problem? Oh right, they're too busy dealing with the crime inside the police department to deal with the crime on the streets...
Give me a break.

But he wanted a better job I remember that part and he can't even handle his current one?
He is such an idiot. The state should? Well hell, why stop there? How about the Feds? When does it stop? When do you put down your own responsibility and beg someone else to wipe your ass for you? Oh, the last part brought to you by "channeling my mother".

Date: 2008-02-27 01:43 pm (UTC)Dan Malloy is not my favorite guy. I worked in Stamford, and the only reason any part of it is nice is because the big corporations there are paying the city to keep them that way. Instead the city has more-or-less created ghettos for the illegals. Definitely looked like a racially enlightened sort of place to me (not).
Probably if we'd let the UN bring in some peacekeepers, he could get the crime and the police in New Haven under control. Sure.
