New Haven blames the state for city crime

Just an excerpt:
New Haven Mayor John DeStefano says some of those involved have criminal pasts and that more must be done to curb violent offenders.
"Last night...could have been much worse, as horrible as it was," Mayor DeStefano said. "The state needs to step up and deal with this population."
The state needs to step in? How about New Haven start getting its act together and dealing with their own crime problem? Oh right, they're too busy dealing with the crime inside the police department to deal with the crime on the streets...
Give me a break.

I'm planning on adding that in 2015, but I have to figure out what to do with all this water first... In the meantime, my dolls keep hurting each other."
