Federalist Society Student Symposium 2008

The quick summary...
Friday was the initial gathering and two panels followed by a cocktail hour. The Friday panels were really quite good, but the cocktail hour was a cash bar (ouch), so I had one drink, schmoozed a little and then toddled back to the motel. The Saturday panels started off strong (and somewhat controversial), but then proceeded into somewhat dull forums later on. The banquet was excellent, and featured Justice Janice Rodgers Brown as the keynote speaker. She was awesome.
A post with somewhat more detail is likely later, but I'm still playing catch-up with the rest of the world today. Michigan was fun, as always. I went ice-fishing with my father-in-law: it was awesome.

Keep rocking the law world baby. We may not agree on everything, but you got that gun toting-kill 'em all edge I love. Serious, I think the legal profession is getting a good deal here. Add Parse and damn, it's getting spoiled!
