Apr. 25th, 2003 09:36 pmWell, I finished my first week of work in my new job. Overall, I'm quite happy with it, but it *is* awfully tiring.
I actually like the commute, it gives me time to think and I've been listening to "Learn Spanish in Your Car". But add two hours to a normal workday, compare that with my previous live-at-home lifestyle, and I don't have anything remotely resembling freetime any more.
Just getting the laundry done and checks to the bank seems to be enough of a challenge.
Tomorrow is Spring War Practice here in Owl's Reste. I'm barely looking forward to it. I can't wait to fight in big melee's again, but I'm just so tired that sleeping all day is an attractive alternative. Probably if I didn't need to haul regalia to and from, I would stay home.
I have it easy compared to Zohra, she has to skip out in the middle of the day to go to opera rehearsal.
I think if we can make it until June without losing our minds, we'll be fine.
