Okay, today is clearly going to be a good day.

I got a nice voice-mail from zohra who is doing well, if a bit bored. If shopping makes it better, go for it!

I picked up Bran and the kennel, and he's looking about as good as he gets. Maybe he needed a vacation from me and the cats. I do feel pretty bad though that he has to go back on Friday, but it can't be helped. I am compensating by keeping him over Thursday night, and dropping him off on my way to work in the morning. Thanks to some ideas from osgkar last night, I think I have the cat-care situation covered. I'm going to get a couple of those giant self feeder/water doodads and set them up. We used to use them, but stopped because Bran was terrified of the water bottle when it went "glug!" Since Bran will be away, and the cats could care less, I think it will be fine.

I also picked up my new cotehardie at Rhiannon's, which is awesome.

And... then, the cherry. I got my letter in the mail from the University of Phoenix, which says "BTW, we noticed you're about ready to graduate. Please don't forget to pay us: we won't give you your diploma until you do. Thought you ought to know." Not only am I only 21 credits away from graduating, I have a signed letter documenting that fact. YAY!

Going to finish my homework now, and perhaps get some exercise.

We could leave our cats for quite some time - I was only ever worried about the litterbox situation (enough of them that is). We bought extra to use on long vacations. If you can get someone to clean them once while you're gone - BONUS!

Tell Zohra I said hi when you talk to her next. She has to wind down and relax - it must be making her crazy - heh...
