Dec. 24th, 2005 11:59 amDunny turned up, he was trapped in a void in the kitchen cabinets. The previous owners had conveniently built-in a one-way trap door in the corner of the cabinetry. Once
zohra started pouring food into the mega feeder, Dunny was distressed enough to bitch about it. She saw him poke his head out of the available space, and after ten minutes, some catnip, and a slight mookification of the cabinetry, we have our cat back. I broke the trapdoor mechanism, which means that the cats have free reign of the void space, but can't get stuck. Not a great long-term solution, but it seems like a perfect short term fix to me.
The drive to Michigan was long, long, and long. About twelve hours, and we only stopped four times. The border crossing into Canada was painless, but getting back into the US was backed up inexplicably. They didn't really ask any more questions than the Canadians did, so I guess they liked me. Incidentally,
zohra has forbidden me to talk to customs officials in the future.
I got my LSAT results last night. I got a 162, which is in the 87th percentile. It's probably not good enough to get me into Yale, but it puts me at or above the median score of most of my other school choices. I'm not really happy with it, since I was hoping for more like a 170, but as
zohra pointed out, I'm not willing to take it again, either. It will have to do.
I slept in until about 10:30 AM this morning, and now I feel somewhat human again. I'm supposed to be working, since I've logged only about fifteen hours so far this week. Foop. Even accounting for the holiday, I really need that number to be more like thirty. Moving sucks.
I love you all, and if I don't get a chance to talk to you again, merry Christmas and happy holidays!
